ABOUT ME

I am very interested in trying new things and hearing people's stories. I always have an ear open to what others are saying, and I ask many questions to learn more and more. I am always excited to try a new food or activity.

As a host, I love to show off the places where I live. I'll get you to try the local cuisine and I'll take you to the picturesque views. If you don't already have a plan I'll try to make one that suits what you're in town for! As a surfer, I am extremely polite and tidy. If you host me I'd like to buy you a drink and get to know you some. I like how CS makes a unique connection happen, and I want to make a good impression, so I'm game for whatever suits you!

PHILOSOPHY

I think every person has a couple of great stories in them. I also think every person is strange deep down, and I love discovering that part of people. My favorite quote, "If you think someone is normal, you don't know them very well."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host you overnight at this time (though I hope to do so as I become more rooted in Denver) but I'll give advice on things to do, or even meet you for a libation. I sometimes make plans to travel to a new city on the weekend, so I do more of the surfing part for now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became a member in September, 2014 while I still lived in Pohang, South Korea. While there I hosted three different times, and stayed one night with a host in Fukuoka, Japan. I then traveled to SE Asia and stayed with three different hosts in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand respectively. Tried to CS my way through Europe but had no luck, so that's been it so far!

音乐、电影和书籍

Always a complicated subject. My favorite movie is Hook cause it always makes me happy. My tastes in music change all the time, but while traveling folk, blues, and jazz really get to me. I prefer to read fiction, and anything with a sci-fi or fantasy setting is preferable. I also read many comic books. If you know Saga we will geek out over it so hard.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have circumnavigated the globe once, mostly through the air. Deep water solo climbing in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam has been the most beautiful and thrilling experience I've had so far.

教，学，和分享

Well I can't climb the hardest of things, but I have been a climbing instructor before. I can at least teach knot tying, belay technique, and route cleaning.

I want to learn some things about photography, since I have a new CSC camera, but I'm a total novice at using it. If someone could teach me the finer points that would be awesome!
