About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel and collect interesting experiences around the world before I'm old and wrinkly.

ABOUT ME

Gday CSers! I'm a super hybrid Vietnamese-Australian (Thanks to Yngvar Hoting another supercool mixed Dutchy my travel companion in the Philippines who coined this term)

I'm a minimalist. Adrenaline junkie. Sometimes a beach sloth but most of the time I try to do all kind of activities that makes you feel really alive. I love to laugh a lot! Always up to try new things. Oh! I friken love to party just feed my belly plenty of beers and guarantee fun time ensue.

PHILOSOPHY

Your whole life is a collection of experiences that you've done with people. It doesn't matter how much material possession you have at the end of your life, its those awesome experiences shared with friends and families that you can take with you.

My aim is to enjoy as many awesome experiences with as many cool people as I can, so if I were to die tomorrow, I can look back and say that it was a damn good ride and I wouldn't mine doing again!

Oh yea Karma is a bitch! Treat her with respect and she'll be alright!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly by meeting locals, attending cool CS events and activities. Give out travel tips to people I meet and online discussion. Once I'm back home or decided to settle down somewhere for longer than 2 months then I'm definitely up for hosting other CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good so far, met diverse and open-minded people.

Interests

I'm crazy about travelling you can call me a travel addict. I love going to new places and devour their unique local foods. I enjoy meeting locals and learn about the differences between their culture compare to mine. I love to learn new languages as well.

My first and greatest passion is motorbiking. It's my go to form of transport at home and while travelling. I love any activities that involves speed and a board like snowboarding, long boarding, surfing and wake boarding.

I'm also into things like stealth-camping, photography, Ukelele, rock climbing, Muay Thai and mountaineering

Music, Movies, and Books

Watching movies is my favourite sloth activity, some of my favourites are Fight Club, Inception, Clerks, The Aviators, October Sky, Moonrise Kingdom, Chocolat, Lost in Translation, Mr. Nobody, The Graduate, In July, The Motorcycle Diaries, Once, The science of Sleep and many more...

I'm into all kind of music as long as it's good. Some of my favourite artists are Neil Young, Daft Punk, Bonobo, Air, Astor Piazzolla, Parov Stelar, Radiohead, Empire of the sun, The Killers and Le Cat Trong Ly.

Books, that touched me: "Vagabonding by Rolf Potts"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending five months of pure freedom riding motorbike around Europe through seventeen beautiful countries covering 16236 km of road. On that adventure I saw the fame midnight sun, heavenly mountain road, deadly deer encounters, beautiful local people, generous travellers and many nights of majestic thousand stars stealth camping. I was battered and bruised by the elements, not including the time that I crashed but hell I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty good at the art of cheap cheap travelling so I can show you that.
I can teach English or Vietnamese. Ukelele (Basic level), Longboarding and Muey Thai should be easy to teach as well.

I'm a quick learner and really only grow by learning so teach me or else I won't grow :) I would love to learn from any nomads that made it work on the road and are travelling indefinitely.

I will share with anyone who wants to learn more about some of my interests.
