About Me

ABOUT ME

Lets see... Im from the east coast of the US. I spent most of my time in a small town in western MA. Oddly enough, in a small town is where I learned to form my own opinion, and also where I first opened up my eyes to others points of view.

I plan to spend my life as an evolutionary biologist. If you like biology, we will get along very well.

PHILOSOPHY

As humans we are here because of a natural chain of events that lead to us having enlarged brains and opposible thumbs. Not God.

Respecting others points of view is important to me. I have my own point of view, and Ill be more than happy to answer any of your questions about it!

Interests

I certainly like music, and I am a big fan of the outdoors. Laughing takes up a huge part of my day. Im not a big fan of fingernail clippings. Pretty much anything else I can deal with.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes Im pretty versatile. While I like to explore different genres, the early 90's grung/alternative scence will always be where my heart stays. However recently I've been really getting into jazz. Mainly acid jazz, and fusion jazz. The amount of Herbie Hancock in my collection seems to grow week by week. Im all about music that describes without words an emotion that is hard to describe. It seems to me that jazz can do that without effortless ease.

Books and movies. Ok ok.. Im a complete sci-fi geek. Im all about Dune, and Isaac Asimov is a genius. I try to read as much as I can get my hands on. Taking online college courses has certainly decreased my book-reading these days, but I just started the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.

Im all about science in general, and the highlight to my month is pulling the plastic cover off of National Geographic and loosing myself to Panda Bears, or the economic crisis in Uganda, or whatever tid-bit of knowledge NG seems to hold.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw two queen bees fighting each other when I was camping. Awesome. My sister, totally freaked out, stomped on them. That was not awesome.
