ABOUT ME

My name is Kevyn. I am living in Reno, Nevada and I moved here in 2004 with my family. I don't really like it but my favorite place in the world is Lake Tahoe and I live 30 minutes minimum from there. I have two younger sisters, one in college herself and the other is just starting high school. My family is huge and there are mainly girls! I am Native American from the Choctawapache tribe haha but I think its pretty cool! I have played soccer or futbol my whole life and I love it but I no longer play, only for fun! After I graduate from college I want to go abroad to a third world country and teach English and volunteer however I can. Then I want to come back to the US (I think) and go to culinary school in New York. I might try to just stay abroad and go to France and work under a chef. All of this however is leading to my goal which is opening my own restaurant! I love traveling and all the stress that comes with it! I decided to go to Italy for 5 months to study and I stayed a little longer this time to travel to as many places I can go! Next place I am going is Thailand and Southeast Asia to explore the culture and nature there! I really love meeting new people, I think it is such a great experience even though you always have to say goodbye. It might be sad but at least you had the chance to meet them in the first place! I am an outgoing and friendly person looking to have fun and see as much as I can!

PHILOSOPHY

Wanderlust. The world is at my feet, I can go anywhere I want and all that is holding me back, is myself!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have couch surfed two times. It would be great to be able to host someday! I have told all my friends about what I am doing and I encourage them to sign up whether it is to host or surf, it is a great experience!! I love writing reviews for my hosts, especially when they are as great as mine have been!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed two times. They were both great. Both times I was with my friend. The first time there was also another person at the same place and it was great because she was not from the same state as we were so we got to talk to her about where she was from. The host was a native so he showed us around and helped us communicate with the others because he knew the language! It was so fun and the host was awesome! It was my friends birthday while we were there so the host bought her some little cakes and we all sang and shared them together!

Meeting people! Playing soccer! I love scrap booking and Taking pictures... i want to learn photography so i can capture all the amazing scenes and moments to come! and i love love love cooking for people!

I love all music! There are so many books I like it is hard to remember all of them and list them. My favorite books though are the Hunger Games trilogy. I love Finding Nemo the movie, it is my favorite. I guess it is the kid in me coming out!

I have gone to the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. They literally took my breathe away. They are so gorgeous and it is just amazing to see what this world has to offer.
