About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a bubbly, talkative person. I love learning about new people and I believe that every person has something amazing and valuable to contribute. I currently teach music at an International school in South Korea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The community. Hands down, couchsurfing hosts and travelers are some of the most open-minded and interesting people I get to spend my time with. Let's face it, our time is limited. I want to spend as much of it as I can with people who make it amazing.
I want to spend more time outside of my city seeing the world from the eyes of a local. Hotels are so dry and boring. I love the life of staying at an AirBnB, couchsurfing, a hostel or some combination of these depending on my needs at the time.
Interests
I'm obsessed with learning French and Korean right now. Cooking is fun, but I'm no expert. Music is amazing. I recently started hiking which is amazing and sometimes painful. I'm just love becoming more and more in tune with myself and life in general.
Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate most music that I encounter but I tend to lean toward Classical (romantic era if ya know what I mean :)) and R&B.
My favorite books tend to be personal development or scifi. I most recently enjoyed 'The Four Agreements'
Movies- anything that makes me think differently, laugh really hard and/or has action. All of these and it's a real winner :) 'The Martian' was one that really did that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to South Korea 2 weeks after getting my passport.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have started to perform jazz clarinet here and I'd love to bring you to either watch me or some of my very talented friends play jazz music at a cafe. Also, while my Korean is still low, I can help you with a few basic phrases to help you get around easier if you need it.
Countries I’ve Lived In
South Korea, United States
