我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This past July&Aug, I couchsurfed in western U.S., travel from Alaska to Mexico. This is my first long travel with couchsurfing. I have met many kind hosts. Hope I could host somebody soon. Check out HERE for where I have been to from Jul-Dec 2011. Now I try to arrange for some hosting in Singapore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the July and August of 2011, I accomplished my "grand couchsurfing plan" in the western U.S.(including Alaska)and mexico with the help of many awesome couchsurfers. Some of them I just hanged out with for half a day, some I surfed for as long as 5 nights. But no matter the length of the period we were together, everyone gave me a good positive experience (Hope they feel the same,haha). I will say this is really a nice journey and I am really appreciated to those people I met and the couchsurfing community. I really hope I could pay back to the community for the kindness and hospitality I received. That's why my couch status is YES.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchhiking 350 miles in Alaska in 7 hrs. Whale watching in Seward Alaska (technically, it's whale-breath watching, but still exciting).

Well, I am interested in lots of things, generally, if you have something that you are willing to teach, bring it on! I believe we don't have to be really good at something in order to teach others, as long as the teacher is better than the student, teaching could happen. And I am sure the natural difference of culture, background, experience between people determined we surely have something to teach each other, we will see...
