Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been in the program since 2008.In that time I have hosted over 400 people from over 14 countries. France and Germany lead the list of travelers. These 2 nations never want to stay home just travel. What a great life.I am offering a place for peole to stay when their travels take them to Greater Cleveland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Eric was the first. A great experience. I leave home once a year for my annual cruise.vacation. As a result I have not couch surfer at anyone else's place.
If I go to France or Germany I have many couch surfing friends to call and visit.

Interests

Computers, web site development, web surfing, making videos, watching movies, photography, travel and ocean cruises. I take an annual cruse from 7-14 days each year.If you have never taken a cruise you should try it. It is great.

Music, Movies, and Books

All types of movies, classical music, and most types of music. Muder mysteries are my favorite books to read or on my mp-3 player.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From 1980-1982 I started a program called Jet Set. It was open to all students 14 to 25 in high scool and college. I taught them how to produce a weekly cable show, where they did it all. We used the cable acess chanel of the local cable provider. A total of 82 one hour shows were produced over this 2 year time span.

What was unique about the show was the students did everything, I was the only adult. We were way ahead of
our time. Today most school systems offer this kind of experience as part of their education process.

Several of the students went on to become broadway producers, sports announcers, and news reporters.

It was my way of giving back to them what so many wonderfull people had done for me.

I enjoy being around all types of people. Most of what I learned about the web has come from people in high school and college.
