I am 20 years old and I was born and raised on the west coast of the United States. I am currently in my third year of University at a small school in Iowa, United States. For the spring of 2015 I am living in Telemark, Norway, learning Norwegian!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is a fantastic way to travel, it really allows you to get to know the place that you are visiting so much more than by staying in a hotel or hostel. I have had many friends who have had positive experiences and met amazing people by couch surfing, so I thought that I should give it a try!

I am an avid reader and movie watcher. I enjoy yoga and running in my spare time along with learning new languages and traveling. I also love knitting, horror movies, organic farming, and black coffee!

Music, Movies, and Books

A few of my favorite books are Cat's Cradle, Slaughter House Five, and Wuthering Heights. And if I had to pick my favorite movies they would be Forest Gump, Moulin Rouge, Silence of the Lambs, and Amelie. Honestly it is impossible to list them all out in this little box!
