Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm a 28-year-old student-turned-journalist-turned-farmer. I studied International Relations and Environmental Studies in college, worked a bit in the journalism in Washington, DC, and have spent the last six seasons (more or less--including a stint working for the Peace Corps in Guatemala) working on organic farms in New England. I have loved all of my experiences couchsurfing (especially in Israel/Palestine) and am excited to share my corner of the world with others in return!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always been interested in the concept of couchsurfing--when I travel, I do so much more to gain a better understanding of a place via it's people versus everything else it has to offer (though I do love museums, food, music, movies, wandering, etc). I love people and find those (small or big!) real, honest personal interactions--including many spontaneous adventures--to make life worth living.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a lot of different kinds of music (some pop and country, especially while at work), but am especially into folk, bluegrass, and motown/soul. I also play a bit of the guitar! Currently I read a lot of non-fiction and watch documentaries, but I like comedies and any sort of indie film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Couchsurfed around Israel and Palestine!!!!!
Gone on a 5 day backpacking trip in Patagonia, Argentina! Three housemates/classmates I barely knew from Buenos Aires and I rented a car, drove south, and saw what we could see. It was insanely beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've always been more interested to ask questions myself, about anything and everything, but! If you want to know anything about agriculture, politics in the United States, Washington, DC., the Peace Corps, baking pastries, winemaking, or help with any sort of random project (especially one outside)...I've got you.
