ABOUT ME

I'm a native Californian. I am a hopeless bibliophile, I eat books like they're chocolate. Come to that, I am hopelessly in love with delicious food. I love to cook for/with others and to try new foods.

I have participated on swim teams, water polo teams, and football (Soccar in American English) teams my entire life. I love to be active whether I'm playing on a sports team, hiking, rock climbing or dancing!

I spent two years in Istanbul Turkey as a High School English teacher. I am in love with Turkish food, the warmth of Turkish people, the complexity of the Turkish language, and the beauty of this magnificent city that straddles both Europe and Asia. I am really lucky to have had incredible students who have changed my life and made me laugh every day! I recently moved to Los Angeles, and currently work as an ESL teacher at La Verne University.
I love meeting new people and discovering entire new cultures!
