About Me

No single men. Sorry. Too many creeps.

Recent transplant from Taiwan to India. Got married, and have a nice apartment we should share with folks.
I am currently job seeking and my husband works full time.
Trying to learn Hindi and do a bit more travelling around this intense and magnificent country.

Don't message/request anything if you're just a single dude, we all know that's not what couch surfing is about. I cannot emphasize this enough.

Please if you have no references at all, explain why. Thanks. I just want to host frugal, fun people but all I get are creeps :/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: Right now we are happy to host in Bangalore. Sometimes I might seek couches when travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent about 3 months after I graduated college bumming up and down the east coast at festivals and sleeping on strangers' couches. I have slept on many couches, including those of friends and brand new friends alike. Have hosted in the past, starting up again now that we have a good space for it.

Interests

Stuff I like: books, the internet, beer, warm fuzzy blankets, talking about politics, social justice, netflix, meeting new people, gummy candy, maps and geography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last living abroad experience was in Chile in 2010. I was living in Concepcion, and the 5th biggest earthquake in recorded history rocked my town. It destroyed my home and the school where I was working. I did some looting for food. I defended my home from looters before the army tanks rolled in. It was insane and a very unique experience. I learned some Spanish too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Japan, Martinique, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam
