ABOUT ME

Well, the first thing you should know about me is that I'm pretty much awesome ; ) In all seriousness, I'm a very friendly, easy going person who enjoys meeting fabulous new people. Life is beautiful, and it's all about appreciating the simple things-- the smell of spring, the ever changing sky, connecting with others, and those random conversations that leave you with a smile on your face. I've never before had the opportunity to travel extensively and I couldn't be more excited for my upcoming adventures! Getting to experience my travels with new people who want to share their culture (as well as their couch ; ) is truly a dream come true.

Life is too short to take yourself too seriously...all we are guaranteed is the present moment. It's up to us to take advantage of it!

My music taste is incredibly eclectic, depending on my mood...but I especially love anything I can dance to. Live music is the best-- just give me a good beat and some soul!

I love documentaries... and Buffy the Vampire Slayer on dvd ; )

way too many books to list, but I do love to read. Unfortunately as a grad student most of my reading these days is homework related, rather than for pleasure (although sometimes I'm lucky and they overlap!)
