ABOUT ME

I'm from rural Vermont, so I was raised on a steady diet of powder days and dips in brisk mountain streams, but my second love is traveling. Seeing museums and incredible vistas are all very exciting, but isn't always it the people who give a place spice and meaning and a permanent place in your heart.

I'm studying abroad in Amman for the year, and I'm really looking forward to exploring the region as much as I can on a college student budget.

I've never couchsurfed, but I have lots of friends who've had great experiences and I'm really excited to see if this whole thing lives up to the hype. And of course I can't wait until I have a couch of my own to share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been over through the highest motorable pass in the world. Or rather, almost got stuck on ice and run off the road up to the highest motorable pass in the world - it was all pretty anticlimactic after that.

I've witnessed love, hope, survival and forgiveness - all amazing.
