CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel more and interact with as many people as possible along the way. Traveling is something I've always wanted to do and I aim to do more of it.

ABOUT ME

My name is Ken and I'm a native of New York City. I currently only work within the city and hope to live within it soon. Along with that desire I also have another which is stronger; a desire to travel. I love interacting with people and strongly believe that people should experience as many things and places as possible. Traveling is something that I've unfortunately have always viewed with a sense of 'how do I do that?' and slowly but surely I am hoping to change that, I want to have a travelers heart and that is essentially my goal. It's not only to see new places but to also communicate with new people, to hear their stories and discover why people are the way they are.

I work as a graphic designer, photographer, and media specialist. I am also an avid concert photographer and strive to work closely with musicians who come through New York City, especially international acts (specifically British and Irish musicians). My favorite venue in New York City is Bowery Ballroom.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to constantly learn about the world around me and the people I interact with. I think that's one of the best things about life, experiencing as much as possible with as many people as possible. Also a big one is; don't be a dick. Simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly ever crowd surfed at the places of friends but I also have crowd surfed at musicians places after shows and after parties. I don't mind a hard floor or a messy place to be honest.

Photographing music festivals and working intimately with musicians. It's a world I feel some will never experience in terms of the intimacy of it all.
