About Me
CURRENT MISSION
taking the lemons as life throws them at me and moving on to better times
ABOUT ME
I took a 5th year to study classical civilization in Athens this past semester. Has been the best decision so far. I got to travel a bit and visit sites that I have written and read so much about. I return to Indiana University at the end of December and will finally graduate this coming spring. I will have a BA in classical civilization and a BS in accounting. Once I do that, I haven't a clue as to what I am going to do. I kinda need a job to pay back my loans. But I want to move to Athens and teach English/learn Greek. We will see what happens, I am going to send out resumes and hopefully get interviews. If I don't get any offers then I move on to plan B, which would be exciting!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any couch surfing experiences yet. I have traveled and crashed on my friends' couches. Which I enjoyed more than staying in a hostel. Although I have only had great experiences in hostels as well. I've met so many people, but I am looking forward to have different experiences.
Interests
My family has always traveled and I love traveling and don't think I will ever stop.
I am also basically a huge nerd. I love attending lectures and learning about lots of different things. I have 3 minors (art history, Germanic and Western European studies) on top of the 2 drastically different degrees. Just recently I've been studying anthropology and am looking forward exploring that field in the future.
Within this past year I have gotten really into running, yoga and pilates. It has boasted my confidence and I encourage everyone to try to run regularly, no matter how much you think you hate it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skipped high school to hang out in Chicago, visiting the Art Institute when it was free on Tuesdays and going to concerts at the Cultural Center.
Was an exchange student and traveled to Munich with some of my closest friends and had the best time!
Traveling Europe before starting my study abroad program. Actually seeing what I had been studying for the past 4 years first hand. It has absolutely been the most rewarding part of my education.
Traveling with my mother when she came. And my brother when he came.
I've traveled within the States a fair amount, but I definitely have a lot more to see and do there.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't do things just because you are suppose to or because it is expected of you. Do things because you want to do them.
