Hi there! My name is Khai, a twenty something year old from Canberra Australia.

Where do I start? I found travelling at a very young age and it has been a very important aspect of my life ever since! I run an online coaching business where I help others break through their past trauma and suffering so that they may live the most amazing and abundant life possible! I’ve been to around 30 countries so I’m well travelled, and I use Couchsurfing as a way to immerse myself in local culture so I’m not really about saving money more than I am about new experiences with people that are proud of where they live and are happy to share!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I started couch surfing my whole perspective on life has changed. I have learnt that if you judge something based on the opinions of others you will never discover all the beautiful colours this world has to offer.
For me, couch surfing is not about saving money; it's about building relationships with people. I have had some of the best times of my life from staying with locals, and it's an experience that hotels and hostels simply cannot provide. I love the feeling of "not knowing 'till you know" that couch surfing gives me. The mystery is what excites me most. I love this community :)

I like a lot of music but I'm in LOVE with jazz and most electronic sounds 😁

I love all sorts of movies, as long as it is a movie with an interesting story line. (I don't like horror haha)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I sold and gave away most of my material possessions before I left Australia so I could cut all the ties that were holding me back
- I bought a one way ticket to Europe in July 2015 to spend the next two years travelling and exploring Europe and Asia!
- I hitchhiked with three Moroccans that I met at a waterfall for five days down the west coast of Morocco
- I managed to catch the northern lights during my trip to Iceland and watched in awe as they gracefully danced in the night sky
- I travelled on my own to Thailand to do Thai boxing when I was just fifteen. I spent my sixteenth birthday kicking pads and punching faces
- in July 2016 I hiked part the lykia Yolu (Lycian Way) in Turkey
- In January 2017 I found my purpose in life! Which is helping others be the best that they can be.
- In September 2017 I hiked the biggest mountain in Malaysia (Kota Kinabalu)
- Started my own online business around October 2017, where I help others live their dream life!

Teach, Learn, Share

We all can teach each other simply by putting in a little bit of effort and willing to express ourselves honestly. From talking and smiling I have learnt my biggest lessons in life, and to share? Well what life is worth living if you aren't willing to share with others :)
