ABOUT ME

About me :) not as exciting to gloat as others make it out to be.

I have been to 27 different countries (thats more than 1 per year of my life), will talk about those experiences later but, WILL say that is what really defines me as a person. I am quite busy with work sadly..

There have been many interesting jobs in my life, recently I was a sales manager in a factory in China, and now run a trading company as well as work inside an interesting import agency. I have been way too busy with work so people that are traveling will force me to relax and spend some time with them, and that will make me quite happy.

I can now speak Chinese, and because of this I do not think I will ever leave this country :D

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short! I am in my mid 20's and every day i want to see more more more, and thats what i plan to do. I have been to 27 countries and have no desire to stop there, I feel like anything is possible, why? because someone already did it! and i want the same, i want to see people smile, help people that no one has helped, and really change the world, one glamorous smile at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want anyone that has a smile and something to say to come and spend a night or two on my couch! I have hosted a few times and surfed a few times, always happy with the people I meet as they are usually like minded people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Seems like a great idea, a very new concept, and I think that it has been fantastic so far with the people that I have met from all parts of the world. I love it!

Interests

where to start!??! Nature, cities.... its such a big world to be in and so little time..
Outdoors sports are amazing, I live in New York City, work in a big bad office bank and still i ride my bike to work. I love to travel and really see what makes the world tick by, what makes people smile.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books? i like motivational books, those really are my driving force for success and meeting people along with relationships, giving someone a happy thought or smile will give me so much more than i gave them, almost like using them, but its win win!
music.. hmm better stay away from this one people wont understand at all. movies. any movie thats not the same!! a sad ending, or scary movie, something that is new and hasnt been done 4 times over..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to 27 countries, seen the most wonderful people in the most not so expected places in the world.
operated a nuclear reactor, hang gliding, diving, racing motor cycles.. If anyone has a bizarr life i would love to get on that couch and talk about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching:) i can speak a bit of chinese, fluent in russian and english.

I have been three different types of engineers, and now i work in a hedge fund, Optical, laser, mechanical vibrations engineers.

I also have a telescope and optics company in china, but I'm still young and love to ride motorcycles and ski, so please don't be scared of my nerdish nature.. I can change the brakes on a car or do anything you want with a piece of glass... I have also spent 3 years in the US Navy, so if you wish to learn about being on a boat months and months at a time i have plenty of sea stories i can tell.
