My name is Khaing @ Kathryn and I’m a 31 years old from Dawei Myanmar. Since I was graduated, I was working a 9-5 job that was considered to be the “dream” opportunity but somehow found myself depressed and drained. In 2019 , Covid 19 Pandemic is occurred around the world and our country is also under military coup since 2021. In that difficult time, I learned the most important lesson of my life. I discovered that no amount of money or success would make me happy and can't survive the life if I wasn’t doing what I loved. So, I decided to quit job in Myanmar. I sold everything I owned and bought a 1-way ticket to Thailand with no money, no real skills as a digital Marketer and NO idea what I was doing.

I am absolutely crazy in travelling and playing music instrument such as Cello, Violin and ukulele. That's why I do frequently the travelling in my country in every weekends as a backpacker . I found out my soul in travelling and I get over my fear of backpacking alone? Escaping around the country and places where the place to feel in nature and culture since 2017. After decision I make to move Thailand, my energy is obviously booming up again. And also loving creating the food and cooking . So I am excited to experience as much as possible through culture, food, language, traditions, and exploring. This is my first time living outside of the Myanmar for a long term .I am looking forward to broadening my horizons and meeting amazing people.
