Overview
About Me
As cliche as it sounds, I love to travel. My definition of travelling is pretty much straightforward. A short escapade to another town next door is enough to satisfy my cravings to run a way from my normal routine.
I enjoy meeting up with new people from different background, exploring new places and learning to cook something different.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, a hotel wouldn't give me that i-have-been-to-this-place feeling. The ambiance is pretty much the same all over the world. Same goes to hostels - I think it has the typical hostel/backpackers generic/DNA (party, pancakes, 'guided tours' ...if you know what i mean).
I would want something real, something local.
Waking up to a local breakfast in a neighborhood where I can hear and see people preparing for their daily routines.
Chatting with the locals on local issues.
Buying groceries from a local grocer.
Cooking.
And of course, getting to know the city from the locals itself!
