About Me

Ig: @ pomenutrition it’s a public account :)

I just wish I can be on the move all the time, one day maybe.
I felt great when I was in my 20s and I backpacked and used couch surfing hosting and being hosted (that was an old account hence no references on this one yet)
I just found myself sucked into the London’s life and miss being out of my comfort zone and meeting new people and creating memories.
I enjoy travelling the globe and staying at hostels and meeting other travellers (I have some funny stories about hostel stays so ask me about them 😂 )
I’d rather stay with a local and learn from a local about the culture. . I truly think that couch surfing is a gift and im so bloody grateful for it.
Survived through two open heart surgeries and I learned that our time on earth is limited so we may as well enjoy every minute of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was on couch surfing in 2009 when I lived with my parents! it was fresh and I hosted many back then (my mum loved hanging out with CSers, now she misses it since I moved out in 2011) and visited many others in Europe. Since then I’ve always travelled with friends but I’m travelling solo again now by choice. I’d like to re-live my experiences with hosts and I’d like to host again. If it wasn’t for the hosts I stayed with I don’t think I would’ve returned to couch surfing and I hope I left a good impact on others too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m really into classical music, and have a thing for deep house, alternative music.
I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was a kid but for some reason it made me love reading even more (the specialist is still confused about my case tbh) so since then I have a book with me everywhere I go.
Topics I read are philosophy, esoteric, psychology, spiritual, health and nutrition, poetry, human consciousness and history.

I’m rubbish at movies but always open to watch what’s suggested assuming I don’t fall asleep midway through 😂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After undergoing an open heart surgery, i did a 100 miles cycle ride as part of the London prudential to raise awareness for heart disease ❤️‍🔥
The second coolest thing I did was to do a silent water fasting for 10 days! That was an epic and enlightening experience (ask me about it)

Teach, Learn, Share

i can share stories about life and travels I did. Nothing better than a cuppa with stories about people you’ve met who made your human experience and travels so special.
I can teach you all you want about nutrition since this is what I do for living, and if you’re not interested I’ll just cut it short and make you a healthy hearty meal for you and your friends.
Love mass cooking and food sharing and chats.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, experiences, long walks, long chats , cooking. Honestly as long as the host is happy to share time or anything I’m down for it. I’m actually on couch surfing for that particular reason but it’s absolutely ok if they have their own schedule.

Countries I’ve Visited
