Overview
About Me
I live and work in Egypt, where I have enjoyed discovering natural and cultural gems. Besides that, I have lived in Germany, Denmark, Austria and Australia where I have been blessed with many friends.
My career revolved around travel technology which I find intriguing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is my hobby and I would love to keep it up. When I come back from a trip I love cherishing the memories of both the places I visit and the people I meet. Couchsurfing should help make it convenient to do both.
I'd like offer the same hospitality to whomever I meet through Couchsurfing.
Interests
-I try to hike in open fields as much as I can. In fact, I do walk a lot on a daily basis. I think it is healthy to be both aware of your surroundings while entertaining ideas in your head.
-Coffee is very cool, in my humble opinion. I'm experimenting with several types and flavours. My current new favourites are latte macchiato and cold brew coffee
-I am interested in the travel in general as this is the industry I work in, where I am constantly involved with travel technology.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Bill Withers, Queen, Massive Attack, Mashrou' Leila, Queen, Portishead, Black Sabbath, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Soap Kills.
Movies: I like movies with philosophical, survival, thriller features. It is difficult to list pinpoint which I really like, but some of my favourite directors are Richard Linklater, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese.
Books include: 1984, A View From the Bridge, The Birthday Party, The Myth of Sisyphus, I mostly read philosophy or history from the internet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran a marketing services business that succeeded in several marketing projects. One of them helped start a frozen yogurt brand in Egypt. Yeh that was cool.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can exchange startup and business ideas. Exchanging ideas and experiences from work, travelling and social experiences can always be useful. I also enjoy discussing social and philosophical issues in general if that is not too much off a ramble.
