Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Khalid. I am 30 years old and hold an MBA from China. I am currently working in the beautiful city of El Jadida, near Mazagan, about 100 km from Casablanca. El Jadida is a charming city, rich in Portuguese historical architecture and featuring a stunning coastal area, including Sidi Bouzid. I have a strong passion for meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging cultures and languages, and sharing the unique traditions of my city and Morocco—whether it’s handicrafts, cuisine, or weddings.
My journey in cultural exchange began when I volunteered for “Morocco Exchange,” hosting students from the United States and Europe at my home. Through this program, I had the opportunity to meet new people, share ideas and culture, practice my English, and broaden my perspective on the world. Although I grew up in a modest environment, volunteering allowed me to see the endless possibilities around me and realize my own potential.
I dedicated five years to volunteering with Morocco Exchange, starting in 2009. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I remain passionate about continuing this work. I would be delighted to welcome anyone interested in learning about the culture, traditions, and beauty of El Jadida and Morocco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I broke past the barriers of the small village I have grown up in when I became a volunteer for “Morocco Exchange”, hosting students from the United States and Europe at my house. Through the program, I’ve been able to meet new people, share culture and ideas, practice my English, and see the world through a different lens. Despite the fact that I had lived my life in a tiny, modest village, I was coming to see so much more of the world through meeting more of its people! I realized how many endless possibilities there are in the world for me, and just how much potential I had.
