About Me

Open-minded, eager, and personable, 'Cultural Traveller' am fueled with passion for discovery. Now own a Travel Agency called Nomad World Explorer.com. Traveling is all I think and talk about. Single dad!

You can find me on facebook.com/NomadKhalid

Love almost anything outdoors. It is really important to me that I can spend quality time outdoors with whoever I am hanging out with. My favorite outdoor activity is hiking- and that is when I feel at peace with the world.

I work full time in the Pharmaceutical industry also. I have a lot of ambition and drive, but with so many passions it is hard for me to choose only one thing I want to do with my life. Quality of life is just something really important to me and I want to focus on not just making money but feeling fulfilled and happy with what I do.

All people have something special and unique about them that makes them great. I try to be as non-judgmental and open minded as I can. I don't believe in sweating the small stuff or letting things you can't control ruin your day. I try to make the best I can of any situation and try to learn and grow from trials. I can't say that I'm perfect, far from, but I do like to have a lot of fun. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a social butterfly, my objective in life is to travel the world but also to meet others who want to enrich their lives by sharing their experiences. Goals are to have a good friend in every part of the world. Am a huge fan of hostels but wanted to give couch surfing a try. love almost anything outdoors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year one of my best friends and I, went out in the beginning of the spring back in a lake. It was frozen but we did not know that it was only about half an inch thick ice and could be broken. I ran across the entire lake, like a fruit cake and my friend was to scared to go halfway, so he went back while we went seperate ways, all of a sudden a hear a help help! Im drowning! scream and I run back and my best friend is stuck in the freezing lake. He couldnt get out because the ice was to slippery to grab on, and the water was deep. I ran for him and luckily I saved his life.

This is one of the most AMAZING things I have ever done in my life, be a HERO

Teach, Learn, Share

Whether you are staring at a menu realizing you have no idea what the items are, or jumping on a bus that you hope will get you somewhere familiar, travel is exciting. You have to do new things. It is all about getting yourself into situations and turning them into amazing experiences.

Every time I travel, I find that that I can view my life from the outside and find solutions or changes that I never would have seen if I had not gotten away from it all.

As we live our lives, we keep our heads down and we keep going. Any problems we have, we are in them. When you travel, you get outside of them and can solve them.

We always seem to have solutions for other people’s problems but struggle with our own. That is because we are IN our problems and it is difficult to find solutions to something you are inside of.
