About Me

After growing up and living in big cities for most of my life, I prefer villages, mountaintops, jungles and deserts.

Sold all of my belongings to journey around the Earth, spent the last couple of years venturing East, North and West Africa. Now I'm taking a chapter in South America, specifically the Amazon Rainforest region.

Ancient cultures, mysteries of consciousness, and medicinal plants interest me.

Some of my happiest places are where I can hear live music.
Any drum circles near you?

Teach, Learn, Share

"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy"
-- St. Francis

“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair”
-- Khalil Gibran, The Prophet

"To make life a little better for people less fortunate than you.
That's what I think a meaningful life is.
One lives not just for oneself, but for one's community."
-- Ruth Bader Ginsburg

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings.”
-- Henry David Thoreau, Walden

"Of all the motions and affections of the soul, love is the only one by means of which the creature, though not on equal terms, is able to treat with the Creator and to give back something resembling what has been given to it..."
-- St. Bernard
