About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To volunteer my way around the world. As a Boy Scout, I want to give back and help make the world a better place.

ABOUT ME

I am a super easy going person! love the outdoor and love to travel; Surrounded by forest redwood, high up in the California mountains, overlooking the long coast with deep blue water, Santa Cruz is my college of choice. I am looking to continue my adventurous journey by being in more countries with each new year.

I am also an Eagle Scout. Coming to the United States when I was just 10 years old, scouting have made me a better man, doing my best to help people in need.

I don't have a lot of money, but a lot of heart. I love to help people, working as a peer advisor for my university, I am able to assist many students academically.

I just do what I can :)

PHILOSOPHY

Play Hard, Work even Harder.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed twice while in Poland as I volunteered in the Euro 2012 Cup and more in 2014 when I volunteered in the Fifa World Cup in Brazil. That was an amazing experience. I plan to host people once I move out of my family house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to the program a few summer ago when I volunteered in Peru, hesitated as I didn't know much about the program, then once an interviewer from Poland gave her recommendation (I was trying to interview for a position to volunteer in the Euro 2012), I was sold! Here I am today! :)

Interests

I LOVE:- Sport: American football, regular football, basketball, volleyball. You name it, I love it.- Travel and experiencing new cultures: What is the purpose in life if you can't live, and enjoy life from a different perpective. - Food: From Peru's ceviche to Korea's live octopus, from American's juicy Steak to the Vietnamese's rice noodle soup (Pho), I love trying new things. I believe that food captures the every element of one's culture, and I want to gobble them alll up! hehe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been blessed to be able to see the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu in Peru. Hiking for four days up the rugged mountains of Peru, we reached Machu Picchu in time to see the sun rise over the tip of the mountain, shining down on the lost city. It was an absolutely amazing experience.-The Seoul in Korea-Kyoto of Japan.
