About Me

Born and raised in Hue, Vietnam. Officially left home in 2016 to Tel Aviv, Israel. Spent three summers and the last half of 2018 in Hanoi. My home for the next four years is Memphis in Tennessee, US.

I joined CS in summer 2018 for my post-graduation Europe trip, met so many interesting people along the way and definitely not stopping this anytime soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recent favorite albums include Grand Romantic (Nate Ruess), Unorthodox Jukebox (Bruno Mars), and We The Common (Thao and The Get Down Stay Down).

Potterhead. Other than that, I like either cheesy movies with happy endings or philosophical movies at the end of which I have no idea what I just watched. Black Mirror and Game of Thrones minus the last season.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked through Europe. One of the cars was the police's.
Paraglided in Berat, Albania on my first snowy day.
Ran away from a Bedouin family in Jericho, Palestine because of their (understandable) political extremism.
Volunteered in the 2018 Quidditch World Cup in Florence, Italy. (Yes, we play quidditch professionally.)
Had a thorn stuck in a finger for a month after a long hike in Karmiel, Israel. I still wonder why it didn't get infected.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an avid follower of the YES Theory, I am willing to learn anything and share everything I've known of this Earth, including but not limited to the ikat technique of silk weaving, disaster management in Viet Nam, and the Israeli - Palestinian conflict.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sarcasm. Stories. Stories with a sarcastic undertone. Jk. I can cook Asian and Mediterranean vegetarian food. To prove that I'm wife material, I can clean and do laundry as well. If I bring my ukulele along, we can jam. We will fight until our philosophical and political POVs reach some sort of consensus.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Cambodia, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Palestine, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, United States, Viet Nam
