I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium once and saw a fish tank in the shape of a circle that housed sardines. All the sardines were swimming in circles in one direction. Then I noticed an individual sardine swimming in the opposite direction, fighting its way around! If I were a fish in that tank, that would have been me.

Silly, I know, but the above (true!) story gives you a good glimpse into my personality. As far as I can remember, I decided long ago, to not follow in anyone footsteps, but instead, to forge a path of my own. No doubt, the paths along the byways are a confusing and a sometimes lonely place to be. However, the rewards of such a choice, regardless of the outcome, is a real character building exercise that lasts a lifetime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I have not been as adventurous as others, I do admire those that travel on their own and explore the world around them. In a way, I'm living through the eyes of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 3 years worth of vacation time (4 weeks per year x 3 years = 12 weeks) exclusively traveling throughout the USA's racing at all the major motorcycle race tracks.

Obviously, I can teach you how to properly ride a motorcycle! Also, I know a few things about photography as I studied that subject in college and went on to do all of my family and friends weddings!
