I'm Chris Khanh Tran, currently studying at Niagara University, NY.
As growing up, I realize that I need to get out of my comfort zone to explore the world and find out what my true self is. I am looking for the true meaning of happiness to me. Traveling brings me to new horizons, gives me stories of life and true friends who have the same interest and philosophy as me. They all makes me appreciate what I have and realize how lucky I am to wake up every morning to see that life is so amazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read a book about a girl who had just got over a break with her boy friend. Painful and hurt, she decided to fly to America and explore this country by herself. She mentioned in her book CouchSurfing and its community. I immediately felt in love with it and signed up an account. I believe traveling with CouchSurfing will bring me unforgettable memories, stories and friends making my experiences deeper.
I also want to minimize my cost so that I can go farther and longer. But the most important thing is to have experiences which I could never forget for the rest of my life.

Interests

Photography:
I worked as a freelance photographer in Vietnam. In the weekend, I love to go into the nature and take pictures. I wanna catch the sunshine, the wind from the ocean and the sound of trees into my pictures. When I see them, I feel peaceful and close to everything in the universe. It remind me that we are all stardust.

Running and Swimming:
I'm a marathon runner. I don't run because it is good for health. I just run because I like it. When running I feel free, just the world and me. I could be mindful and comfortable in every breath. I love swimming for the same reason - to be on my comfort void.
