Overview
About Me
I live in Tbilisi, Georgia and have spent most of my life in my country. Travelling is not just a hobby but a kind of lifestyle for me. Meaning, not only abroad but around my country as well. I love hiking, rock climbing, camping, etc. I am an amateur photographer and an amateur writer.
I love seeking adventures and then depicting those emotions and impressions in my photographs or writings. Every new country I am visiting is a new challenge for me in terms of language. Since I enjoy learning languages, visiting a new place means learning a new language at some level.
I am cheerful, easy-going and sociable person, loving people and cultures all around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason why I am on Couchsurfing is that I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. Visiting a country for a fortnight or more, sightseeing and staying at hotels is never enough to get in touch with the culture. Staying with locals is a way to know the people and country better, to explore and discover this country in the best way possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I just adore music, movies and books and all the stuff connected with arts. My type of music include classical rock, jazz, ethno-music and a bit of pop, it always depends on my mood. But it is always a good time to listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rainbow, Muse, Cezaria Evora, Chinawoman, Tiger Lillies, etc.
As for movies I love European cinematography but enjoy Hollywood stuff as well. My favorite directors are Pedro Almodovar, Ingmar Bergman, etc.
I am a real book lover, literature is my passion. I adore Latin America, German, English, Japanese and Russian literature. As for the authors I love they are a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done in my life was reaching a peak which is 3736 meters high from the sea level. It was one of the most impressive experiences I have ever had. We had to hike for 3 days, rock climb at some places but the result was worth of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching is my profession and not just a profession or a job but this is how I see the world. I am always eager to teach people whatever I am good at and they are interested in and I am always open to learning new things. We all have some knowledge or experience that can be taught or shared and we should use this huge of source of information and knowledge called - a human !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experience in Eastern European countries, their culture and languages. I love cooking and I'm always ready to share the clues of delicious Georgian cousin to the hosts.
