ABOUT ME

Grandma in young girl's body. Jolly, catchy smile, mostly cheerful, sometimes darker, impulsive, spontanious, multilingual, scatter-minded, beloved, forgetful, peace&silence lover, nature lover... Open nature child they say. Scary when angry. Not a pretty girl -type of girl. Worth getting to know. Hahaa... :D

Lately I seem more and more shy and introverted, some might even think impolite due to my silent moments... and I can deal with less and less excessive noise, party and meaningless chitchat with time...

PHILOSOPHY

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" takes you quite far in life. So I strongly believe in forgetting, not looking in the past and learning-by-living. But I have to work on my directness...

I think you can find positive things everywhere, sometimes you just need to dig a bit deeper...

I want to surf around, and whenever possible, also host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had little experience this far. All were marvellous experiences though!
My surfer was really kind, fun and interesting person, and was no trouble at all :) I was so glad to have such a good first experience from CS.
My host in Berlin - I could call him a friend from the very first moment - and we have stayed friends since 2012! We have had fun trips together :)
My hosts in Ireland and Holland on 2012 were also really friendly and interesting persons, we write sometimes and I would definitely host them any time :)

Interests

MINIMAL&TECHHOUSE&HOUSE&TECHNO keep my heart pumping <3 I love observing people, and confusing some of them by going to talk to strangers like I knew them. I like to push myself to limits (when it comes to social situations, heights, insects or other stuff I normally feel uncomfy with) and see what happens when I cross them, but I also enjoy just being... Just, to be... I read books whenever I have time, and write letters to my loved ones <3 I wish I had more time for knitting...

Music, Movies, and Books

Did I already mention techhouse and minimal? <3 Oh, and techno n old school house, too...
Also bands like Korn, Marilyn Manson, Deftones, Smash Mouth, Coldplay and so on come near to my heart, but overcommercial radio(bulls)hits... NOT. No offence to those who do, I just hate it ;)

Gigs to remember: Modeselektor, RinneRadio, Antti Rasi, Richie Hawtin, Klaudia Gawlas and Ben Klock.

I also enjoy classical music every now and then.

I find Terry Pratchett and Stephen King good authors, and I also like strong realistic books about relationships, and true life stories (do try "Anatomy, Monotony" from Norwegian author Edy Poppy)

Armageddon makes me cry, every time. E.g. PulpFiction, FifthElement, Piano, Untouchables and animated Anastasia I can watch again and again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First time finding silence inside my head through meditation in 2016 was an amazing life changing experience.
