ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town Taerbahatay 15 kms by Kazakhstan border in Xinjiang, northwest of China.
Several years from 2003 I lived in Urumqi for a BA in English--the capital city of Xinjiang with 2 million people.
For the first time I travelled out of xinjiang in 2009 during a 35 day adventure trip (no plans, no reservations, just improvise) passing Xi'an, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Haikou, Sanya (17days of a beach vacation)
In 2009 Sep to 2010 Sep I went to Beijing working as a tour leader and culture course presenter.
I went to Shanghai in 2011 and 2012 and I travelled in Lanzhou, Wuxi, Kuming, Lijiang, Dali, and Chengdu.
I cycled over 8000 KM in eastern China all together in July, August and November in 2012
Later I was in Sanya a year in 2013 sailing Hobiecat boats.
I was in HCMC, Hanoi and Nha Trang in Vietnam for two weeks!
I spent one month in Malaysia in March where I first dived in my life!
I have been to Manila for a fews days in May 2013
Last trip was a week in Chiangmai in North Thailand and two nights in Bangkok.
I always look forward to more traveling in the world as I evolve every time I do it.

I lived in Almaty, Kazakhstan from August, 2014 to the end of 2015.

Now I live in Washington DC with my wife and our puppy Tomyris after two years in Culver City in LA.

having been performing as a rock band in front of 2000 pls at a university stadium at xinjiang medical university when i was studying clinics before i moved to another university for language and linguistics study.
