About Me

ABOUT ME

what you see is what you get!
i come from a family of four, and im the eldest of two guys (brother, 20).
more into the arts as compared to sports, but i enjoy tennis,swimming/diving and artistic gymnastics.
i really enjoy hanging out with friends, good music and just chilling!
im pretty much very easy going yet focussed. My friends describe me as crazy with a tinge of serious!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had one yet, but watch the space!

Interests

As obvious and lame as i tmay sound, but im into meeting people and forming relationships (friendships in particular). We are all so completely different, and no two people have travelled the exact same course in life. EVERYONE has a story to tell, and that i find very intruiging!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can digest almost anything, but i guess im a product of modern day pop-culture!!!so the things you see on MTV etc!i really like dancing, so anything with a solid beat gets me going.
The last really good movie i saw was V for Vendetta, but yey again, i can handle almost anything (as long as it is not too superficial/cliche!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming from a continent saturated with poverty and the AIDS pandemic, one is usually amazed by the whole attitude of "ubuntu." Witnessing uneducated 80yr old grandmothers taking care of 12+ AIDS-orphaned grandchildren, surviving on less than 5 euros a day.Seeing how the community sometimes comes together, even under the most unfavourable of circumstances. That for me is something special.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh man there are just too many experiences to mention, that I honestly can't even think of one specific one!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Africa
