About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

My name is Marcus. I’m a responsible but easy going guy who likes to meet new people from all corners of the world. In the autumn of 2012, I moved from Stockholm, where I grew up. In order to, I began my training as an architect in Lund. it is absolutely amazing to start my dream studies. I love to experience new things and I believe that there is always a new adventure around if you just look close enough

I guess you have to meet me to get to know me better.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is like a plastic bag, empty and meaningless. If you do not fill it with anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After my first CS-trip I have had both very good (the majority) and bad (one of them) experience. but there is no reason to stop!

Interests

I'm always up for an adventure. One of my main interests in life is boats and sailing, as I have done since I was eight years old. I have sailed several different types of vessels, from home-built reed boats to ships. However I'm also very interested in art and culture in various forms.I paint and photograph myself and I like to stroll around the galleries and see what's new and old. I'm not much for clubbing but would appreciate one or two beers among friends.

I enjoy good food, both eating it and cook it,and of course I enjoy a glass of good dark beer. I can cook a Swedish specialty if you show me the special food of your country.

I love learning new things and a favorite site is Ted talks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the spring of 2011 I traveled with a study group to Cape Town. We visited different organizations working in the townships. It was an indescribable experience, and one of the most emotionally difficult thing I've ever done. So much suffering, but also hope for the future. It really gave me perspeltiv on life.
