Overview
About Me
I'm a 22-year-old pursuing my bachelor's degree in computer science. I was born and raised in UAE, Abu dhabi to be precise, then moved to Sudan -my homeland- to finish the rest of my 5th grade here and continue until college.
I have to say I resented Sudan at first, but now, in my 20's, I have to admit it helped shape who I am today and also make me a stronger human being. I used to be very gullible but Sudan helped change that, which is one of the many positive things I got living here. I still visit UAE every now and again since my dad still works there, but I don't think I can go back and live there again.
I love meeting new people as much as I love food. One day I'd like to travel and experience different dishes from different countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love learning about different cultures and learn new things in general. And since I'm currently unable to do that by travelling, I can do it by hosting people from different places!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I've never had one song that's been my favorite for more than a year, it's always changing.
But right now, one of my favorite songs is Surefire-John Legend. And two of my favorite artists are Jon Bellion and Hozier.
Regarding movies, anything space related is amazing. Not the star-treck type of space, the Interstellar type of space movies. My favorite tv show is Grey's Anatomy (can't wait for season 14 to come out!!!).
I've recently read this book that visits the topic of Palestine through a family that lived there. The book is called Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa.
