Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to backpack Europe on a budget.
ABOUT ME
My name is pronounced like "Trisha" but with a K. (I do get that a lot.)
I'm an American 20-year-old who likes to meet new people, discover new places, and eat new and delicious food. I enjoy going off the beaten path, immersing myself into a culture, and avoid the American tourist reputation.
I am currently studying abroad with the Danish Institute of Study Abroad in Copenhagen and studying Child Development & Diversity. I hope to become a family child care provider at home.
I used to be a waitress at a restaurant in San Francisco in front of a hostel and found it really neat to meet tourists and other students from around the world - thus, inspiring my wanderlust to travel in Europe.
PHILOSOPHY
(Dis)cover more ground and avoid taking the same path or visit the same place more than once.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I come back to California in July, I'm willing to meet people and direct them towards the best places in San Francisco for sights and food.
As soon as I have my own place, I'll be able to offer up a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
looking forward to gaining some!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Serving in Costa Rica for two weeks tutoring children at an after-school program in one of the a low-income neighborhoods. The children and the people I worked with were amazing and inspired me to study Child Development.
Hiking the Northern ridge of Piatra Craiului of the Carpathian Mountains - just sitting at the top of 2,000 meters. (The highest I've climbed so far.)
Bathing at a bath in Budapest.
Visiting the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Walking along the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.
Living at a folkehojskole (gap year boarding school) outside of Copenhagen.
Jumping into an icy cold Norwegian fjord after a hike.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can offer talking about things that have to do with:
>> san francisco
>> danish language & culture & food
>> growing up filipino
>> child development
>> making music
>> i can give a good massage..
I'd like to learn more about the local cultural views on childhood in various countries, and art history in general.
