ABOUT ME
1000 possibilities to talk about here, and nothing fits it all. Just come around and find out. I am sure personality is not to put in a few words.
PHILOSOPHY
Life always comes different to what you expect. I just walk through life and see what there comes. An open mind is the only thing you need. I live on very little money. Our house we built since 2006 (still not ready, but comfy to live in) is our dream which costs us a lot of courage and discipline. But is a real 3 D project :-) Some day we will leave this place and go somewhere to the north. Panta rhei ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We live in the country between Cologne, Aachen/Düren and Bonn and appreciate people who do not hesitate to leave the city centres to experience what the country is really like. Specially in summer it is worth coming for a little rest. You are invited to stay even longer if you enjoy it. You may choose between an open library to sleep in or a little room in the attic where you can close the door and feel close to the sky and the birds. Sounds romantic? Sometimes it is. Sometimes it is only quiet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I always enjoyed having guests and I love if there are more than two people who eat what I have been cooking. This is the first time I really have space enough though it is not easy to come to us without a car.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies, Music, books: yes, exactly (perhaps the other way round).
Fried green tomatoes, Fanny Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Jane Austen, but also swedish novels or modern poetry. Nothing what I do not read which consist of words. Sometimes unfortunately I do not find enough time for reading. But I even read the advertisements on the toilet paper packing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One? Hundreds and more: The most amazing things are people :-))
Teach, Learn, Share
Language in any sort, specially German as a foreign language (teaching). I speak little Swedish and love to meet Scandinavians of all countries. Started to learn Danish finally in 2016.
Any people who want to get their head free by building anything in or around the house are most warmly invited! Current projects in summer 2011: garden house and terrace, planting, tiling outside, carpenters work inside.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything they want to share with me/us ... :-)
