Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Khushi, or Kay (which literally no one ever calls me, lol). I'm from India and I love getting to know new people and travelling! I speak 4 languages fluently: French, Spanish, Hindi and English, and I'm working on learning some more. I'm a student and work at my country's Cultural Ministry as well as with many Embassies, especially Afghan and Guatemalan. In 2022 the travel bug bit me and I was able to meet people across the world through Couchsurf: It was a wonderful experience! I love to meet new people, eat, talk about life, eat, make beautiful memories, and eat some more!
PS: I have zero references because I end up getting along so well with people that instead of references, we end up becoming lifelong friends and keeping in touch! :) Feel free to reach out to me in case you want to meet or have any questions!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Good question! I'm mainly here since I'm constantly visiting new countries (I plan on Spain, Compostella, Portugal and maybe Italy this year) and would love to meet new people!🤗

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love French and Russian literature (I read a lot of Dostoyevski; after 90 years of going through the book and getting lots of weird stares in the metro, I can say it was worth it). I also love sci-fi.
As for movies: I love things as diverse as slapstick comedy and really philosophical things. A lot of my humor is based on Seth Macfarlane so I'm really sorry in advance! Lol
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a solo trip from India to Europe when I was only 20. Not knowing anyone, I met some online friends, and it made for the most amazing memory of my life!
I've visited seas of South of France (in the cold February), and the Northern Lights (in the warm April. Seriously need to do better planning!). I've also been to Nigeria when I was 7, so I have to rely on my parents to confirm it wasn't just a fever dream.
I've been scubadiving, and have learnt 2 languages by myself. I'm also working with the beautiful Afghan people in India and training them under a Government initiative, and they're teaching me Pashto :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages, cooking Indian (fried but still amazing) food, is almost always free to take people visiting Delhi on sightseeing!
