About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To share, learn, create and experience all that we can.

ABOUT ME
I was raised in a Hindu family with rich cultural background and strong religious beliefs but over a period of time I evolved to be a freethinker, a spiritual person and a non believer in religions.

I am one of a kind. I have seen more churches than temples; I have read excerpts from the Bible but have never read the Bhagavad Gita (Holy Book for Hindus); I read the last page of a book/newspaper first; I talk to food at times when its really delicious; I am lactose intolerant :(

I am an optimistic person who doesn't like to control things. I try to love people as they are and I believe that this world needs more love which is indeed a solution to all global issues. I appreciate every small things in life. I try to eat healthy as much as I can and exercise as I find time. I am person with oodles of energy and desire to do everything in this little lifetime.

PHILOSOPHY
Do what you love, life is too short to not do what you love :)))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to host people as and when I can. Due to my busy work schedule on weekdays and travelling on weekends I haven't had had an opportunity to host many Couchsurfers but I have hosted a few people from Estonia, Germany, Mexico, San Marino, Brazil, France, China, Russia, Turkey, Hungary, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Belgium in the past.

Occasionally, I go to Couchsurfers meet at times but honestly speaking I'm not very good at it. I've met a few couchsurfers through common friends and Meetups and it always has been a delightful experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing surfing experience has been pleasant so far. I have learnt a lot about people, culture, food and most interestingly people's perspective on life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking The Waves in Arizona, USA
The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located near the Arizona-Utah border. It is famous among hikers and photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged, trackless hike is required to reach it. The Waves is a size of a football field which is located in extreme wilderness in North Coyote Buttes. Due to its pristine and fragile nature only 20 people per day are allowed to hike this area. So, one has to be really lucky to witness this god's beautiful architecture.

I hiked The Waves in Jan 2014 and this hike has been the best and the most rewarding hike of my life. The hike was about 6 miles (10 kms) roundtrip into the mountains. It was surreal, exciting, exhausting, psychedelic and beyond my imagination. It was very moving and powerful experience.
