Overview
About Me
Bonjour everyone!
I'm Kia Linnéa, a positive, curious and social girl from the North. I currently live in Oslo, where I study, work and enjoy life as best as I can. I have a strong interest for peoples and cultures, and my main drive in life is working for social equality. I have a BA in culture and communication with a specialization in social anthropology, and at the moment I'm doing a MA course in social entrepreneurship. I have a dream about starting my own social enterprise one day. I'm also working as a kindergarten assistent on the side of my studies, a job I absolutely adore. Children are our tomorrow! Maybe not surprising, but travelling and meeting new people is my absolute favourite hobby.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I consider it an amazing way to meet people, establish new relations, exchange cultures, get to know new places and experience/learn things I never would without it.

Music, Movies, and Books
The list is so long, I listen to music all the time. Some (!) of my favourite bands/musicians are Neil Young, Tame Impala, Grizzly Bear, Wilco, Fleet Foxes, Ásgeir Trausti, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Daniel Norgren, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Vampire Weekend, Animal Collective, Feist, Radiohead, Ryan Adams..
I think my favourite movie these days must be Moonlight. I am not the most eager reader of fiction, but I do love watching series. Some of my favourites are Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Game of Thrones, True Detective, Fargo, House of Cards, The Leftovers etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed the night in a Maasai village, Tanzania
Teach, Learn, Share
Love is my religion. Cultural relativism is my methodological principle. There are always at least two sides to every story, ergo there are many thruths. Can you teach me your way of doing things/seeing the world around you? Let's always strive to understand each other, no matter how strongly we disagree. Peace.
