Hello!

My name is Kiana, and I am currently traveling in Indonesia! I love to meet new people, try all the foods, and practice my bahasa! Let me know if you want to hang out, celebrate Hari Raya with me, or be my language partner for the day!

I will be in Malang on June 15-17 and Yogyakarta from June 17-June 22.

Outside of traveling, I am an English teacher in Kedah, Malaysia!

I can speak a little bit of Bahasa Melayu, and can also speak Mandarin. My native language is English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn about Taiwanese culture from locals and to discover all of the natural beauty of Taiwan! I love meeting new people and exploring beautiful places with new friends.

I love watching cooking shows like "Chopped" and "Iron Chef". I also love the movie, "Chef".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked for the first time with my Taiwanese friend from Taipei to Taizhong. We met the nicest people along the way!

I also traveled with my friend from Singapore to Thailand last summer. We stayed with a wonderful host family/farm stay in Chiangdao, which is about an hour away from the northern city of Chiangmai. There, we relaxed in hammocks and picked the freshest Rambutan fruit off of the trees. We also soaked in free natural hotsprings a short ride away from the farm. Would love to share more stories with you when we meet!
