Overview
About Me
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and went to school on the East Coast. I work at Richmond City Hall on a grant program and we are working to start a tool-lending library here right now. We're also starting a goat-grazing program in a part of Richmond with a lot of overgrown lots and I'm excited to start hanging out with a bunch of baby goats.
In the past I've lead a bunch of backpacking trips for college students and middle-schoolers. I grew up going to Yosemite to climb a lot because my dad was an avid rock-climber.
I miss four seasons but I'm enjoying all the delicious fruits and veggies that the Bay Area has to offer.
Interests
I'm in a book club and art club right now. My project for the art club is to translate some Indonesian poetry and so far in the book club we've read: The First Bad Man by Miranda July, Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates, and The Argonauts by Maggie Nelson.
