About Me

I am a fresh graduate on psychological counseling and currently, I'm a freelance translator for Turkish-Portuguese-English. I share an apartment with 3 friends, each of us have a separate room. I live in the European side, at a neighborhood called Hisarüstü, 3 minutes by walking to the metro station. I was a Rotary youth exchange student in Curitiba, Brazil on 2012-2013. So any Rotary youth exchange students, let me know in particular! I've sang in a lot of different choirs including jazz, rock and classical music. I love acapella music and also play the ukulele.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel with my friends or alone during the holidays. I think Couchsurfing is the best way to get new friends and get to know the area you are in. A local can help you in many ways that a hostel can not! Plus, Istanbul is a really big and chaotic city for someone who doesn't live in it. I would love to help people discover and enjoy it more.

Interests

I enjoy singing, learning new languages and meeting new people by travelling. I'm also a graduate in ballet which I danced for 16 years. I play the ukulele. I'm not a big fan of museums and history, I'd prefer to discover the beauties of nature instead, by travelling or camping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Rotary youth exchange year in Brazil. Amazing experiences, lots of friends, beautiful memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach the basics of the ukulele!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since my room was meant to be the living room, it's quite big and I have a floor bed for one person in it. Cooking materials are available in the kitchen in case you would like to cook. I'm expecting from you to leave everything as you've found it, clean and organized as possible. I can also offer my washing machine if you need. Beyond those, positive vibes and peace!
