ABOUT ME

I'm a clutz, I'm way shy, and I am too tall for my own good. I love karaoke, even though I'm not good at it! I love microbrews and sociology... and the combination thereof. A good conversation is one of the best ways to spend time. I adapt fairly well and I like to dance when I drink. I don't smoke and I don't do drugs and I appreciate people who can appreciate those things. I am very sensitive and tend to be passionate about certain things, but I always try to be tactful and humble. I can be selfish and spoiled but I hate that part of me and I am working on changing it. I'm not a leader, I need people to guide me. I am a pretty quick learner and I take instruction fairly well.

If I surf your couch, show me the cool places to go and I will follow you with interest. I'll listen to your stories, ask you questions, and participate in your activities.

If you surf my couch (somewhere down the road) please tell me the things you want to see and do and I will try to show them to you. I'm not very good at finding new things to do on my own but I can show you the things I know and I can show you well.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a work in progress. All I know is that I want to do something to change people for the better. I think community and communication, when executed correctly, can solve any issue. I believe in karma in my own life and I try to act accordingly. I want to live my life with the goal of bettering the lives of others and I think if everyone did the same we would all be a lot happier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Someday I will have a couch and contribute to this project. Till then I am only surfing, but I can promise you that I will be kind and courteous when you share your living space with me. I will keep it clean and buy you beer and drink it with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch-surfed before! Unless high school friends count and in that case I've probably done more than my fair share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I work with children at a non-profit organization. Every day I have the experience of having a positive affect on a child's life. I think this is the most amazing thing I have done/can do with my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have much to offer, I want to improve my Japanese and I am willing to trade my English for it! I can engage you in many a conversation about society, though I am still learning and would love for you to share your knowledge with me.
