In my spare time I thoroughly enjoy playing board games, brewing beer, painting, or even just sharing beer with friends as we talk about nothing for hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tend to do a fair bit of travel for pleasure (mostly within Canada) and one of my favourite parts of that is meeting all the different personalities I come across. Sometimes grabbing a hotel room ends up being the easiest solution to the problem, but there are precious few opportunities to meet new folks that way, and even fewer crazy stories created.

I have been in a fight with A large North American rodent (the great Canadian beaver). It was a valiant fight and I would love to regale you with the tale.

I have a reasonably diverse background, including engineering, music, art, the sciences, and random trivia, so we could start there for interesting topics.

I also love to tell stories of the weird situations I have found myself in with wild animals or otherwise.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Beer, coffee, tales of intrigue, boardgames... Probably more random such and such as well. I will help clean your place, take you out for dinner, provide some groceries, or whatever else I can do to help out.
