Overview
About Me
Hi my name is Kiemute. I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. I play the cello and the piano, my favorite sport to play is soccer, I recently started practicing Muay Thai and I plan to continue, and I want to pursue an acting career when I return home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling through Europe until April. I'm looking for new experiences, that's all. I love anything artistic and creative, and I want to see a world I have never seen before. To answer the question, I'm on couch surfing because i'm kinda trying to not spend so much money and have a positive experience in Europe.
*to add to that, I've realized that this is a great way to meet new interesting people. Even if I'm not staying at someone's place, it's great that there are events and things you can go to. I didn't realize that until just now.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will listen to anything from classical music to gangster rap though, I love music and I'm usually happy when literally anything is playing.
My favorite movie is hard to say. But my favorite actor is Denzel Washington. He's the best!
The books I read are mostly Japanese comic books (manga), so I feel like not many people will be able to relate to this part, but I guess my favorite manga right now would be one that goes by the title "The Breaker (& The Breaker New Waves)." Manga is a bit of a strange hobby of mine I guess, but I really like all the different kinds of art styles you end up seeing, and the plots are really unique when you find the right one. I was really into Japanese culture when I was in high school.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked around Europe for 2 1/2 months by myself when I was 20.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you a bit on the piano or the cello, I love to share poetry or music that I write sometimes if you're into that stuff, and I would like to learn anything you can teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, conversation, lifting heavy things, helping with any cleaning, cooking (though I'm not too experienced I can chop onions 😊 and I would love to learn how to make some new meals from around the world)
