About Me
Hello!
I have had a very long and loving relationship with the COUCHSURFING community and hope to be able to on host again in the near future. At this time I am unable to host. BUT I am available to meet up and share my knowledge of Arizona and the Phoenix area.
______________________________________
I’m Kienan! I love couchsurfing! I love traveling! I love meeting people! I've been hosting for many years and hope to continue for many more.
I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. I also lived in Denver and grew up mostly in Florida, but was born in Massachusetts.
I'm an artist and free thinker and also very interested in science, philosophy, folklore and psychology. During the day I work as a project manager and in the evenings I like to draw things, eat food and listen to podcasts or camp under the stars and wonder...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy the couchsurfing experience and always try to spread the word. I've done most of my hosting in Tampa, FL and am happy to be able to host now in Phoenix, Arizona.
I whole heartedly enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories. Hosting also gives me the opportunity to stay in touch with all of the "hidden gems" and beautiful places in the area. It makes you appreciate where you live more than if you didn't have people to show around! I found this to be very much the case while living in Tampa, FL. Arizona has a lot to offer and I'd love an excuse to go explore!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2015: Visited more than half the states in the country, some several times.
2014: Got to hike into and experience Havasupai Falls in Arizona. Also spent the better part of a week living in the woods outside Homer, Alaska surrounded by bear, a glacial river, miles and miles of lichen fields and friends and family.
2009. I scampered across a few miles of the Great Wall of China or as the locals call it: Changcheng. Bumper-boated the flood plains of the yellow river. Ate tons of amazing food! And made tons of amazing friends!
2007: Sailed amidst the British Virgin Islands, visited the Baths National Park in Virgin Gorda, ate a fresh sea lobster, stared down a barracuda, snorkeled with jellyfish over a coral reef and hyperventilated when I swam off the reef and peered into the maw of the oceanic abyss. 8-o
2006: Saw Hop Along and the Screaming Females in someone's living room in Pennsylvania and got intoxicated by voices.
