Overview
About Me
I am a northern raised individual who is new to the city! I plan to get a lot more travelling done but as I am on a student's budget I might need to stick with Canada for now. I turned 18 in the past year which is why I am new to couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for an alternate method of travel and to meet people from all walks of life. I hope to soon return the favour and lend my home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a lover of music and I have learnt to appreciate all forms. Even so, I have found myself being particularly fond of alternative, rap, rock and francophone pop music.
As far as movies go I enjoy blockbusters just as much as the next person and my favourite genres are Comedy, Independent, Thriller, Horror, and Romance. I find myself too busy to go see the films while they're on in theatres and need to wait until they are on Netflix. With that said, I prefer watching series such as Game of Thrones, Orange Is The New Black and The Good Place.
Nowadays, when I find myself reading, it is usually a feminist piece either for class or for my leisure. Previously I have enjoyed reading quirky novels such as the Fault in Our Stars and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At a young age, I was given the opportunity to travel the vast majority of Canada through youth activities (like seminars, forums, parliamentary simulations ) and I even acquired a job that enabled me to travel at 17 teaching healthy relationships and sex ed in northern communities. I only have a province and a territory left to bar off my list! (PEI and the Yukon)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always interested in learning so I'd appreciate learning about anything you'd like to share. When it comes to sharing I believe one of the most valuable things in life is sharing perspective and having a good conversation regardless of the subject.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As far as teaching goes I'd love to give you a helping hand with learning the basics of the ukulele and the djembe (depending on whether or not I'm able to have my instruments with me). I'm also fluent in French so if you haven't spoken in awhile and would like to I would love to chat. I'm not sure I can teach someone French in the span of time I'd be couchsurfing but I can try!
