Born and raised in the suburbs of New York, I've since moved to Chicago with my wife, where we live a short drive/train ride to downtown. As a teacher, I spend a lot of my time working and planning, but I would love to help those looking to explore this city by hosting travelers. Although I may not always be able to take guests around and give firsthand tours, I can at the least offer a comfortable place to stay and plenty of help in navigating and taking advantage of Chicago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is fun! But also expensive. If cutting costs by getting a free bed/couch to crash on helps a potential traveler decide to embark on his/her/their next journey, then I'm happy to help. Plus, when I'm too busy or broke to travel myself, hosting others gives me the chance to learn about somebody else's world from the comfort of my own home!
