About Me

I'm just trying to be the best version of me that I can be in each moment.

It would only take two acts of kindness to change the world; the kindness I offer a stranger, and the kindness they offer in return. All I can do is hold up my end of the bargain.

I've found that I love to discover new things and learn about almost anything. I'd love to learn more about local culture and local history of the places I'm lucky enough to visit.

My interests include (but are definitely not limited to):

Ancient Civilisations - Gobekli Tepe, Sumer, etc (I'm no expert though aha)
Driving - Nothing fancy, I don't even have a car in the city, but I love the freedom to take the roads and get lost. (I'd love to learn how to ride a Motorcycle)
Gaming - I don't get to do it as much, but I love video-games; I've always wanted to get into a Table-Top RPGs. (Teach me to Dungeon Master?)
Meditation Practises - I'm still working on this, I'm probably over complicating it ;)
New technologies - I'm recruiting in the Biotech sector - I love it
Reading - Only recently got back into this, last book read - The Path by Christine Gross-Loh and Michael J. Puett

I'm recently discovering a motivation to learn new things and I've decided there may be a way in which I am able to be more productive with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to take the opportunity to travel and learn new skills, so I am hoping that I might be able to meet with people who are able to host me and who would also be kind enough to share their knowledge with me and to try to teach me something new.

I know it's asking a lot of your time, so I want to be as much use to you as possible with chores, I'm willing to work hard in order to earn that knowledge.

I was also hoping to start writing a travel blog, where I can catalogue what I've learnt and possibly share some stories of my travels and the people who host me (you? :P) - So if there are any bloggers out there; or writers who have experience in this field, who wouldn't mind housing a gangly englishman for a night or two to get me started, that would be splendid :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held a friend when they were hurting - the small acts of kindness are what makes the world better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fairly skill-less; I know it's pretty shocking - I'd love to learn a new skill and would love to pass that knowledge on to others :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess I can share my life experiences, stories, the more I do the more I can share, and hopefully help out with practical things too, I'm 6ft tall and healthy, I'm not the strongest Ox in the field, but I can help out.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Mexico, Netherlands, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
