About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just moved to Stockholm, looking for new adventures and planning my next trip.
ABOUT ME
Enjoy nothing more at the moment than conversations and experiences with new people in new places - usually over food!
Trying to concentrate more on the things in life I enjoy, travel being one of them, along with people, food, music.
Trying to become more self sufficient, baking my own bread, making my own milk, want to learn how to build, fix, grow and make more.
Consider myself to be quite a lot of fun, but also quite a serious person, find the challenge is keeping the balance right!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm working on it at the moment to be honest.
Think people should think more about what they enjoy in life and then try to do or have more of it.
The last few years have taught me that the further you can place yourself from the pursuit of money, the happier you are likelier to be. Unfortunately, life and the modern world can somewhat hamper this.
We should all talk more. About everything from the mundane and flippant to the very serious and painful. Everyone seems to be communicating far less (in real terms).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To date I have surfed, travelled with other CSers and been to socials. Have helped introduce a couple of people and am very keen to stay involved and hopefully start hosting soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed, travelled with a CSer in a campervan for a week and met some other CSers on my travels, both via the website and through social events.
Interests
Music - love playing, listening and discussing it.
Food - A vegetarian but no problem with meat eaters and always flexible, I love food. Am always happy to cook too (actually miss it when I'm travelling!)
Travel - I come from a tiny island, it's such a big world with so many interesting things in it, it seems so obvious to see as much of it as possible.
Politics & philosophy - I love talking about this big beautiful planet of ours, about what's wrong with it and how we might be able to fix it so we're all happier.
Sport - Can happily talk about or watch practically any sport, and am willing to try most of them too!
books & movies - Same as above, enjoy reading, watching, talking about them, recommending them, tearing them to bits!
